The practical question is therefore more specific than whether a service “has the NBA.” Can it show your chosen game, from your location, at the time you want to watch? Losing the opening minutes to an unexpected restriction can feel more frustrating than the subscription price itself, so a quick access check is time well spent.

Test the plan with three real games

Choose one local-team game, one game featuring a team outside your market and one major national broadcast that interests you. Check each game’s official listing and the restrictions for your viewing location. This gives you a useful sample of the different situations you are likely to encounter.
